Viatcheslav Moshe Kantor is a notable Russian businessman with a significant presence in the international Jewish community. Over the years, he has held various influential positions, including President of the European Jewish Congress, President of the World Holocaust Forum Foundation, Chairman of the European Jewish Fund, and Chairman of the World Jewish Congress Policy Council.
In the business sector, Kantor is a major shareholder in Acron, one of Russia’s largest fertilizer producers. His journey in the business world began after he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute. In the late 1980s, he ventured into the computer trading industry, setting up his own company. Kantor’s involvement with Acron began when he secured a contract to conduct an environmental impact assessment at the Azot chemical plant in Novgorod.
